car man rider hoplite asked:
Well I am still in 8th grade and I don’t have much time to improve my game, I only play for about 3 hours on weekends. I am slightly overweight, but I am able to beat a few kids my age and older. But I am not able to survive a rally of more than 20 strokes. How can I improve myself? BTW, I run 2 miles to warm up, I exercise on the agility ladder, but that is all I have time for because I have soo much math homework (pre-calculus)

Ok champ, this is coming from a (ex) squash pro who has competed and coached at a very high level. I suggest that your main focus should be racket skills via good technique. That would be the most effective use of your time on the weekend. During the week, study some technique tips, starting with the grip and basic swing and move on from there. Spend an hour of your 3 hours on the weekend, practising what you have read about and spend the other two hours playing matches and HAVING FUN!!. Now if you feel you are a little bit overweight, it is very simple. Eat less, move more and when you do eat, eat the good stuff. Grilled meat, lots of vegetables and fruit and no more than 3 slices of bread per day. That’s very basic nutrition advice but it will help. No Maccas or other junk food bud!!
